Why people won't like the Fujifilm X100VI

In the build up to receiving the Fujifilm X100V I found a lot of content regarding why people didn't like the X100V. As a camera that has been insanely popular and very hard to buy for nearly its entire life I can only assume this content was created because it was trendy to do so, for clickbait...or because maybe they were right. Great videos! Have you tested the newer options like the Sigma 100-400, Tamron 150-500, Fuji 150-600, and Tamron 18-300. It would be interesting to see how they perform. Primarily interested in the first and last vs the 70-300 considering price and weight.

    Can we adjust polarizer to desired point and then insert ND and adjsut it Using Dail ?? Will that change the previously set Polarization ?? Can you PLEASE explain, my question is " what if i wana shoot a car under harsh sun , how to get polarization with ND ??

    • @ThomasBusbyPhotography
      @ThomasBusbyPhotography Місяць тому

      I just tested this just for you. If you use the polariser on the dial it works as expected. When you add the variable ND, its amount of density is based on where the polariser is set to. So you CANNOT use the dial for polarising AND variable ND, just one or the other.

    • @NihalUsman
      @NihalUsman Місяць тому

      @@ThomasBusbyPhotography big thanks for testing it for me , so , first we set polarization, and then we insert ND and adjust density, mechanically that manual dail will get on to ND when we insert it and this will never change polarization from set level , am i correct ????

    • @ThomasBusbyPhotography
      @ThomasBusbyPhotography Місяць тому

      @NihalUsman no. Once you insert the ND and start changing the dial. The amount of density has changed by rotating the polariser. The ND doesn’t rotate, the polariser does, which when combined with the ND makes it into a VND. Just to be clear, you can NOT use this system as a polariser AND a VND. Just one or the other, but if you only want to use one, the dial makes changing the polarisers position OR the VND density very easy.

    Hi Freewell folks. I am about to Buy the new M2 System. My biggest lens currently is a size 77 filter size. I also have a 72, and 67. Friends are telling me to buy size 82 and use your step up rings. they say it will prevent vignetting. what do you suggest. I worry about lens caps on my lenses when not in use. Thank you for your help, Tony

    • @ThomasBusbyPhotography
      @ThomasBusbyPhotography 2 місяці тому

      I struggle with this as well. Step up and down filters don’t play nice with lenses caps. And buying multi of the same filters isn’t fun. However I went with buying a few of my favourite filters at different sizes. I own less different filters than I could have for the same money, but I also use filter thread size as a factor when buying lenses knowing what filters I already have for them. Because I love keeping my lens clean and using a lens cap as often as I can, and I change lenses a lot.

    This really feels a bit biased, 1.4 was SHARPER on both test, do a lay iver graph, MUCH MUCH better on abberations, on par with a fr*king 16mm 2nd spot, real world EQUAL focus speeds on F2, locking manual focus ring with markings and still only 300grams, really don't get your conclusion. Even the noisy motor I hardly heard and is a mute point with a decent mic, and let's not forget 2 whole stops faster and tack sharp at 1.4. Really sounds like a home run......
